Keith Knee is the founder and managing principal of Spartan Venture Group — an investor, strategist, and advisor with nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of media, technology, and capital.
Keith Knee is the founder and managing principal of Spartan Venture Group. With nearly 20 years of experience spanning investment, strategy, and advisory work across the media and technology sectors, Knee has built one of the most distinctive networks in the industry — one that spans C-suite executives at major corporations, team owners, senior media and entertainment leaders, and innovators at the forefront of their fields.
Earlier in his career, Knee worked closely with Ron Meyer during Meyer's tenure as Chairman of NBCUniversal, helping bring an entertainment technology company into the NBCU fold. When Knee first met the company, it had five employees and no revenue. Through his work as EVP of Strategy — a role he joined on a one-year contract — the company grew to 65 full-time staff and generated millions in revenue.
That experience — taking a company from near-zero to scale by leveraging the right corporate relationships — became the blueprint for SVG. Today, the firm applies that same approach across its full portfolio of advisory, investment, and corporate partnership work.
SVG's principals have led deal teams, advised on bespoke transactions, and sourced more than $500 million to deals for established mid-market clients. That track record is built on the same disciplined approach applied to every company the firm backs.
